Laser Cutting:

$5.00 minimum ( up to 5 min. cut time)

$0.80 per minute of cut time after that

3D Printing:

$0.30 per gram of filament used

CNC Cutting: (Service is available only when qualified DFL staff are on duty.)

$10.00 set up fee

$0.60 per minutes of cut time

PAYMENT: 

​

Payment for cuts is done using your DEBIT DAWG account.  Make sure money has been loaded into the DEBIT DAWG system and that you have your Student ID Card on hand to swipe for payment.

​

No DFL associate is authorized to provide any service without the required payment, and DFL associates are not permitted to accept cash payments under any circumstances.

​

If you do not have Debit Dawg or sufficient funds available on your Debit Dawg account, you may have the option to make a cash payment directly to the School of Architecture Office Manager on the 4th Floor.

DFL Service Fees and Facility Support:

​

The fees collected from students for services provided by the DFL are used exclusively to support the operation and improvement of the facility. These funds help cover materials and supplies, equipment maintenance and repairs, replacement and upgrading of equipment, and other expenses necessary to keep the DFL operational and accessible to students.

​

The DFL relies on revenue generated through these service fees to support its day-to-day operations. Therefore, all required charges must be paid promptly and in full. Timely payment helps the DFL and the School maintain the facility, replenish materials, keep equipment in working condition, and ensure that these resources and services remain available to all students.

By paying for the services you use, you are directly contributing to the continued operation and improvement of the DFL for the entire student community.
