The role of the lab assistants and lab staff is to promote the proper and safe use of the equipment and to operate the equipment during the lab’s hours of operation. The lab assistants or lab staff members may choose to assist with file management BUT they are not responsible for fixing any poorly configured or improperly generated files. The lab assistants and lab staff have full authority in the lab at all times concerning operation of any equipment.
